968 wing pics
I saw a pic online of a 968 wing on a 944, i was wondering if you guy could post some pics of 944s with the 968 wing. do they go on easy or do they have to be modified?

Here's an aftermarket fiberglass adjustable wing for the 968 (365 euro). Picture taken from the website of Van Zweeden in Holland - http://www.v-zweeden.com Look in the fiberglass menu.
It should fit 944's without a problem, but I'm not certain. We are looking to make use of this rear wing on a track racer.
They also have a non adjustable wing at 300 euro.

Hmm... I could not edit my post to correct it... oh well
The picture is obviously not a 944 as you asked for, but this is a 944 (at least there are some pieces of a 944 left in there )
Read more about this "968 in a 944 body" here: http://www.diateam.no/porsche/
Sorry about the oversized image, but I'm just linking in from the diateam site.
Cheers,
Ørjan

A factory 968 wing (or 91 S2, which is the same) will not work unless you get the whole hatch with it.
That being said, I bought a 968 reproduction wing from KLA industries that is designed to fit. I came in primer, with all of the trim pieces in primer, and I painted to match. While KLA no longer sells them, I *think* www.944racing.com does.

Here is a picture of mine after the install:

That is a really special car you have George, I applaud you for not parting with the spares to let the next owner of the car keep it close to original also. I also like the upgrades you have done to it (interior door pannels, 968 mirrors etc.).
I hope you get top dollar for the car, it seems to deserve it.

968 spoiler is not a straight fit to 944. You will need the whole hatch. You could use a 944TS or a 944S2 hatch of late as they are the same. There are some brackets which are welded onto the rear of the hatch frame which your car hasn't got. Fiberglass replicas - quality-wise - are not up to Porsche finish - if you are fussy go OEM.
