Default lexan hatch

looking to do a small group buy on 944/968 Lexan rear hatch to save on shipping cost. Requires freight shipping but 1-4 can fit in the box for same $120 shipping cost to northern NJ, so if I can get 1 more guy, shipping is only $60 each, 2 guys $40 each, etc. Five Star Bodies. I plan on getting the 3/16 trimmed, but I don't think it matters which one you get. PM me if interested.

Why does it require freight shipping? Five Star used to roll them up (!) and ship cheaply. Ask them about it.

I'd guess they are formed? I've bought two of them, each 3/16ths as per OP, from different sources (Racer's Edge and Apex Performance). Each one was formed.

I know they're formed. I've bought them too, albeit a few years ago. Ask Five-Star about rolling them for shipment.

PS: I was surprised too, when they told me they would be rolled.

I'll call them and see, but that's what he initially told me. Thanks for the tip.

Depends on the thickness and whether you want trimmed or untrimmed version.

http://www.fivestarbodies.com/store/...product&id=485

$325-388.

No discount on what I think is already a good price. Just trying to split the shipping cost between a few people.

How about trying to strike a deal with Apex Performance, a paid Rennlist vendor?

http://www.apexperformance.net/ProdList.asp?scat=334

Clark and Linda are great people, easy to deal with and this product is first class. Built by a air craft window manufacture in Penn, so shipping deal to the upper east coast might be easier to swallow.

Cheers,
