Headlight conversion 944 turbo

I looked into the Morimoto Sealed 7 projectors, i dont think they will fit though. The projector is quite long and would extend back into the headlight bucket by nearly 6" from where it mounts to the headlight mounting ring. I have not actually measured the clearance you would have at the bucket, but just looked at it i think you would need to cut out part of the cross bar in the headlight bucket.

If you want to look at other options, an LED conversion may also be interesting. i used the KC Hilites 7" round set that are sold for Jeeps but will fit the 944, with some modifications. They looked to be plug-n-play but the lens extends about 1" further forward than the stock lights so some creativity is required in order to allow the headlights to close.
Crappy after pics but I can assure you the light output is amazing and there is very little current draw - I see more voltage drop from turning on the parking lights...

Yes, its hard to tell the difference between the ecodes and the vision or h4 housing one, mind you the light reflections not bulbs. Would be great if the car was aimed at a wall or on the road where you could see the road lines. Shooting at an angle and into a fence make the pictures not helpful past seeing color changes. It would be nice to have driver view pics or pics from behind center of the car. That way you can see the wide spread differences of the light refractors.

I am out of town this week but will try to get some better pictures on the weekend. The lights operate as normal.
I don't want to hijack the OP's thread so I will post in the LED headlight thread here: https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-...completed.html

Only got one done last night its actually a lot more white then it looks in the pic. But its incredibly brighter. 55w ballast with harness 6000k bulbs bixenon. Included in kit BTW(same as one on rennbay but came with kit) for only 60 bucks. Most of the time is spent tucking wires for a professional look install. The setup is super simple though
