I would still go with the Intraxx set! All cupcars here in the Netherlands are running Intraxx. As well as the 968's and the 944 turbo's!!
Downside is, they cost a lot of money, not sure what the price on a KW V3 set is?

Having owned shocks with adjustable bump/rebound previously I have to say that I never used the adjustment. I am not a professional driver and doubt that my "lap times" during a DE would be any different at either end of the adjustment range. I found that the adjustment on Koni's especially was poor with very little difference between full soft and firm. The valving seems to be easily overwhelmed.
I went with Bilstein turbo cup coilovers for the most recent suspension rebuild on the 951 with "track" valving and 500/650 spring rates F/R. They are 80's tech but work incredibly well. They are also very stout and reliable. Look at the size of a Bilstein piston rod vs Koni or KW. It is firm on the street. Rattling on bumps with monoballs at most pivot points. Great as a weekend setup. Probably not the best in a daily.

+1 on the KW's as a great street/track setup. Mine might still be for sale Paully. I'm O.S. at the moment but am planning on putting a lot of nice parts up for sale over the next month or so. I have a few others interested in the KWs but once I get my hsit together I will see who wants what. We have progressed in this as we've taken some pics and will put the list up for sale soon. Even if you don't wind up with my KW's I still haven't been in a car with a better street/track suspension system.
I probably will go with the v3s though. I've read countless reviews. I always value your opinion on these things Patrick.
I like the idea that i can adjust the compression and rebound on low speed. And it's not hard to change spring rate on these either since the softer high speed valving and harder springs work well on smoother roads like we've got here in Melbourne.

I have the v3's on an e36 m3. I think they are awesome. Great quality. It's primarily a track car, only driven on the street on a rare occasion, but I would still put them on a street car. I have a race valved intrax set up on my 951 race car, but it's not complete yet so I won't have a review until this coming spring.

Yep. Even when I ran mine with upgraded springs (800/900 f-r) the car was still driveable on the street. With the original 625/710 it was fine and way more relaxed over corrugations and bumps than others with different brand shocks and running much lower spring rates. The V3's would be perfect on a sporty street car. I was happily going to run my race versions in a road car that I was going to put together with all the spare bits that I'd gathered over the years. Now a lot of that stuff will be for sale. If the previously interested parties don't buy them I'll let you know.

Another option would be to have your front Koni's rebuilt to double adjustable and pick up a pair of Koni 3012 double adjustable coilovers (Paragon Products) for the rear, t/b delete. Koni's don't have the high speed / low speed valveing like the KW's but I seem to recall reading of a few on here that enjoy this setup.
