Default How many Tec-3 users are on here?

Howdy, I just bought an '86 951 with an Electromotive Tec-3 engine management setup. I love it so far. I'm curious who else is using Tec-3 on their 951. Maybe we could set up a little email ring to share tips, setup, etc...

Default Tec III Users

I just bot a 944 T with Vitesse stage 3 and the tec III system. I will be running the car between 4500 and 6500 feet above sea level. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Trying to find a test/tune day that fits the schedule - It runs in GT2 and there is no passenger seat ...yet. PM me and we can get together.

Any details on the car? I may know it already….

As far as the altitude – you may need to do some tweaking but it should be self-compensating if it was tuned correctly.

Default 944T Class GT2 and G70

You probably do know the car - I bot it from a man in Mississaugua (sp?), Ontario
This was his description -
This car weighs 2308 lbs dry, has 390 rwhp at 22 psi of boost and has done a 1:27.88 at Mosport. Last year it came in first overall in Class H which is the fastest class of G70 and 2nd overall in GT2 which has a break out of 1:28. It has a 22 hours engine in it and comes with a large list of spares including: 2 sets of 3 peice 18" forgeline rims, with Michelin Slicks on them as well as one set of 17" BBS rims with new Dunlop rains, 2 O-ringed heads, one complete and one that needs freshening, one block, 2 cranks, 2 sets of pistons and rods, alternator, starter, two sets of PFC pads, Vitesse Stage 3 turbo, springs, transmission etc. Basically, you are pretty much set for the next ten years for parts. The car has Moton double adjustable shocks, Vitesse Stage 3 Turbo, Vitesse Sledgehammer Head, Kolkeln rear suspension/sway bar, Weltmeister front sway bar, Kolken rear Sway Bar, Big Reds as brakes, Custom intercooler thats about three times the size of stock, custom oil cooler, Racers Edge Control Arms, TEC III electromotive engine management system, full fiberglass body and carbon fibre wing.
Thanks for your interest.

Yes, I know that one, I help him out with some tuning advice last year. That car has some nice parts on it!
