car - 1987 / me - 1962.

The first new car I ever purchased was a 1987 Acura Integra - at the time about 1/3 the cost of a new Porsche 944 Turbo.

I'm 21 years older than my car but remember when they first came out along with the Starion ESi-R/Conquest TSi twins which were my other favorite '80's turbo cars of which I've owned several of those in the past.

I too am older than my car. I always wanted one growing up and had pictures of "Pinky" ( The Cup Car) on my wall.

My real introduction to the 951, was my best friend growing up, his dad had a black '86 with 8" rear fuchs on the front and 9" 930 fuchs on the back. It had all the goodies for the day (B and B 3", and Autothority Maf). We used to run that car so hard. It was so impressive how quickly it got up to speed, but yet felt like you where not even moving.
