I like the Turbo Cup logo and the Turbo S cars derived from the Cup series so thought why not

Fair enough. The 89 on Turbo's must be derived form the Turbo S then .

Yes once the Turbo S with M758 option was finished the later cars came with the M44/52 engine, LSD and the options of M030 etc.

I think MY89 cars still got the lightweight CS alloys before the Design 90 wheels were standard fitment.

Main difference seems to be that after 88 nearly all cars had sunroofs fitted and finding one without is a rarity
