I'm not sure the exceptions help the new owners form a realistic view of what reliable power actually is.
the high power engines require a lot of tuning, parts, repairs, rebuilds, hours off the road, and expertise.

I don't think you are the person to teach new owners being that your hands on engineering experience with car engines is 0 and you don't and never have worked on them.
Just leave new owners alone. You never owned a turbo so just do us a favor and stfu until you do.
Its not about power, its about turbo. You just don't get that.
