hi, new to forum. just purchased a 1986 944 turbo. I have a brake pad that rattles on the back left. would like to purchase anti rattle clips for all the brakes and also something to stop the brakes from squeaking. my mechanic will install these parts. I would like a suggestion as to what I need to buy and where I could purchase these online or if they can be purchased over the counter at a auto parts store. thanks , abe

from my experience, porsche rotors were made strong, ive seen them wear way low ever before warping or cracking. you might want to check the rotor thickness and pad wear. if you have a rotor under min, and a slightly warn pad the pad will rattle against the lip that is formed on the outter edge on the rotor.

I've never heard of an anti rattle clip in a 944 before.

But you may just have the wrong pads in the car.

make sure they're the right pads first.
