My 951 @ AutoNation 2003 (Toronto)
At about 6am, getting ready to leave rochester ny for the show...
note: the black tape around the lights is temporary, i'm having trouble figuring a good way to secure the clear ABS plastic covers from GT Racing (rage2? anyone else w/ these? how'd you guys do it? right now mine are screwed in @ the top and taped @ the bottom)
Pics from the show:
The car took 1st place in the "Luxury" class (got lumped in with M-B, etc - audi, bmw had their own separate classes) as well as "Best Motor" - my friend Aiman's Audi S4 took 1st place in Audi, and another friend, TJ, won an award for longest distance traveled (he came up from NJ).
On a less happy note, on the way home, the car broke a ball joint (see pics below). I also need to do the rear wheel bearings... *shrugs* it's a 951, I'm rather used to stuff going wrong / breaking

Looking good!
to hold the lights down, try cutting a little L-shape in the perspex to create a hook, and put in two screws to the side of the lamp casing. With the screws at the back, that should hold it down. I'll draw up a little sketch if you don't get it......
What lamps did you put in? and how did you fabricate the bucket mounts in the end??

Wow! Your car is incredible. I love the adjustable wing and the rear bumper. Is that a different bumper, or did you just remove the pads? Also, do you have any more pictures that show the headlight setup?

i'd love a sketch / diagram of what you're suggesting, i THINK i get it, but i'm not sure 100%...
the lamps are 90mm hella projectors (68139 low beams, dot legal HID, 68140 highs - motorsport / racing only HID), to mount the buckets, we welded a piece to the car that goes under them and then drilled the CF and thru-bolted them (well, welded a nut to the bracket) then a friend bent some aluminum in a metal brake and i painted it black, going to powdercoat them and some other bits soon. i'm pretty darned happy with them, except the aiming - but that's all my fault, they're just bolted in, i have to get a stand-off to use the hella-supplied aiming screws.
the rear bumper is a fiberglass replica of the OEM one, as you said, sans pads, it was on the car when i got it from Chris, it's one of my favorite features (there isn't a THING on that car that he didn't go over and above and spend both time and money wise 110% - he's even offered to help me with my suspension woes).
re: wheels, i'm going to be getting wider wheels soon actually -- probably like 17x12 or so, it can take up to a 14" i believe, mainly, i want a bit more sidewall for the sake of the chassis (with solid bearings/bushings, it's a bit harsh), so if anyone wants some 18" factory 996 wheels (they're scratched a bit, but as you can see in the pics, nothing horrible, and they're prefectly straight) for a good price, with brand new (less than 300 miles) s03 tires, drop me a line, i'll off them CHEAP (ie, less than the cost of the tires).
for more pics of the car / the rest of the show pics, check out my friend's web page at:

I'll take some more pics tonight of the lights on (both at dusk, and later, at full-dark) - it's hard to capture HID lighting with a photograph, mainly, the color-temp, these look like factory audi/bmw lights (very white, with a bluish tint, approx 43-4500K i believe) - the beam pattern on the low beams is your typical e-code-ish __/ __/ and the high beams don't have ANY cut-off ie * *

I had to remove the 20ish-degree bend and have the air-filter coupled directly onto the hard pipe that houses the MAF sensor and air-temp sensor - the filter sits between the headlight housings and the IC.
the front bumper is a fiberglass / carbon fiber replica of the factory one, with a splitter, the other bumper (rear i assume is what you're asking for) was on the car, i think either Racer's Group or GT Racing would sell one, call Technodyne (1-480-804-9700), if you tell them you're looking to buy the same bumper as Chris had on the car he sold Dave they could hook you up
