Adding this to my 3.0 build list soon to begin. It's a street build, so although it may not be absolutely necessary, I see it as additional reasonably priced insurance rather then over-kill. Thanks, great contribution!

Thanks for clarifying.

I just measured my journals, they have been polished twice so they are: 51,975 - 51,974 - 51,975 51,975. What clearances would I be looking at whith these journals. Are they too worn?

Your journals are fine. Keep in mind there's variation in micrometers, temperature when measuring, and operators. Porsche 944 cranks are rarely out of spec unless damaged. I wouldn't hesitate to run this crank at all. Oil clearance will likely be .0025 inches or .0635mm.

Can you provide coated bearings or would I have to buy a set, have them coated and then sent to you?

I received my rods back from Michael last week. I'll be sure to give them plenty of abuse.

Pics or it didn't happen

I am starting to tear down a motor and if the bearings/bores are in good shape, I'll use this rod-bearing service.

If it needs work...stroker.

If I was smart *** I'd just re-post the pictures from post #1. They look identical. But alas I'm a lazy smart ***.

Hard earned engine building wisdom suggests .002" per inch of journal diameter is a good starting point for racing applications.
