Pulled DME and found authority chips.

I have been reading archives and am wondering if these chips are causing my car to run rich and fail our emissions test. Should i swith to another brand of chip or can this rich problem be corrected by my mechanic?

Although I no longer run Autothority chips, I did use them for a long time and always passed my emissions test with them.

had authority, also ran rich, erratic idle and blows black smoke befpre boost kicks in. now i have gurus and it fixed all that.
the problem is now i know the feeling of boost and i want MORE.
