Default SSI New Ball Joint Kit

Over the years there have been many aftermarket Ball Joint kits produced for the Porsche 944 that copied the factory design including its flaws. This revolutionary design increases the strength & adds new features not found on any other 944 joint.
New & improved features;
• New alloy steel
• Overall joint geometry
o Increased radii
o Shoulder to distribute load
o Pinch bolt slot size
• Flats used for alignment
• New lower cap with joint tension adjustment bolt, locking nut & Zerk fitting

Kit cost $250

Can this work on 968 control arms? I know they are somewhat different.

The only visible difference I have seen between the 968 arm and turbo is the tab for the brake cooler ducts otherwise I believe the ball joint is the same

The ball joint assembly on the 968 arms cannot be released through a clip like on 944 arms because the whole bottom of the joint is "sealed".

Once you remove the arms you will need a flat blade screwdriver, Pick, drill W/1/8 bit, snap ring pliers, 8mm Allen socket, 14mm wrench, torque wrench & grease gun.
