Default Horn/window relay wiring

Hello,

So I have been stripping my car down for a repaint and haven't done much to my wiring (I can go more in depth later).

As I was working on it I tried rolling down the driver side window and had the horn go off when I hit the window relay switch. The horn goes off if I hit it up or down or even try the passenger side switch on the driver side.

So something is definitely up with the wiring and I NEED HELP SOLVING THE ISSUE. I have not removed the horn (this is an '86 Turbo) but have most of the interior driver door card removed. I was just about to remove the seal around the window when I went to roll down the window.

Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated!

Other info: I have repainted part of the engine bay already which required taking the wiring that runs along the fire wall and pulling it away from the fire wall enough to paint it. If this could have damaged something potentially let me know.

Alarm? If you have one, try the jumper, don't expect a malfunctioning Alarm to behave in a predictable manner.

Thanks for the advice there!

I do have the factory option alarm system.

How do I test for the alarm malfunction? Pull Fuse for alarm?

I would venture to say the old alarm system is acting up. 99.99% of them are disconnected by now as they are nothing but trouble. Follow the link below to deactivate.
