Newer Porsche Radio
I would love to put in a newer Factory Porsche radio with bluetooth in my 951. Has anyone done this yet? If so what would I need to get as to make it work and what would be the best model.

This might not quite fit the bill but I installed a Blaupukt Toronto with Bluetooth radio into my 925s and was very happy with how it functioned. I am sorry I can't add much about Porsche specific radios.

Don't know what do you mean by newer but if you mean newere than 951 factory radio, then Porsche CDR-22 looks good. I used one in my 924, it is in fact Porsche-branded Becker Mexico. It has AUX input so I can connect it to my smartphone and play music through it. Love the sound quality of it.
But there is Porsche Traffic Pro also, rare though.

Porsche branded becker monza is PORSCHE CDR23
Volkswagen uses it too but is sold as individual.

If you ever need a security code for a Becker unit, you can get the code from Becker service in the USA, such as SW Stereo Specialists. http://www.swstereo.com.
I installed a Becker CDR-220 purchased from SW Stereo Specialists, complete with factory wiring and iPhone input wiring. It looks perfectly at home in the 944. Has Porsche lettering on the bezel and the LCD spells out Porsche when it's turned on, so it looks as OEM as you can get in a standard single DIN slot. It has auxiliary input and telephone input, so I would bet that an aftermarket bluetooth module can connect to it (it's simply a matter of a mono input connection and a power connection to signal to the CDR220 that the telephone is in use and to mute the other audio). Call SW Stereo at 800-270-2378 to find out.

Interesting. Some CDR23 radios have dot pixel display as does original becker, while others have these ugly fixed numbers displays.. strange.

I have been playing with factory radios for my 968 and 993 for a while now. The CR 210 (cassette) and CDR 210 (cd) from the 993 cars and the CR 220 (cassette) and CDR 220 (cd) from the 996 cars will all fit in a single DIN but none have Bluetooth and you can purchase an I Phone adapter for these radios.
+1 for SW Stereo Specialists - excellent customer service when I bought parts or had service on faceplates for my Porsche Becker radios above. They do sell Blaupunkt radios with Bluetooth.

A big note about the CDR 220 is that it really needs the faceplate changed to be viewed in a 944. S W also sells the replacement faceplate that makes the screen visible. As others have said it looks right at home in the 944 and I really enjoy mine.
