it also seems weird to me that it would not smoke when first started, but only when warm. seems to be when the oil warms up. i did have my turbo rebuit a year ago. I've heard that turbo rebuids could be hit or miss.

guess I could bypass the oil feed to the turbo to test.

does seem like the smoke lingers. it filled up my garage.

I wouldnt bypass the turbo oil feed, it still has air passing over it and its still rotating even at idle.
