I had a bad one for awhile so ran with it unplugged. Had to feather the throttle to keep it idling unless the AC was on. Other than that, didn't notice it at all.

I run without one. I capped off the port on the intake and I'm running custom intercooler piping so there is no bung there no cap.The car starts up great cold and idles low and lumpy ~600 rpm for a few minutes till it gets some heat into it. On cold mornings I usually give it a bit of throttle and hold it ~1000 rpm for a few minutes to get it to warm up faster before it settles into a nice smooth idle. It idles at ~1050 rpm when up to temp and has zero driveability issues. I live in south texas and its hot here, your mileage may vary in colder climates.

Good to know as I have been wondering about this.

Thanks Doug!

I don't use one. I plugged the IC pipe fitting and the manifold fitting, removed the unit and keep it disabled with a jumper in the diagnostic port. We have a pretty temperate climate here in SF, so I don't really notice it's missing.
