I just so happen to be right down the street, from the guy that has the supplier, right down the street. Who would of thunk?
I'll try to post up some pictures this weekend of the process.

Not affiliated, but BTW - from 5 Star, (same one Lindsey sells but direct)

*A mar-resistant hard coating is a much better quality product with a significantly longer product life. We coat using our world-renowned high tech process.
*Flexible coating applied before molding allows for easy shipping.
*Permanent anti-fog coating is included at no additional cost..
1. When trimming your window, always use sharp, coarse tooth jigsaw blades
2. After cutting, all edges must be sanded smooth to prevent fracturing.
3. All holes must be drilled slightly oversized to avoid stressing areas; countersink all holes.
4. Use machine screws with nylon lock nuts, as in Five Star's Window Installation Kit. Do not mount windows with rivets! The pressure exerted on the surface of the window during rivet installation will eventually cause fracturing.
5. Do not overtighten! Polycarbonate windows must be able to expand and contract. Overtightening screws will crack the window around the mounting holes.
It's almost as if I know WTH I'm talking about.
Your welcomed,

Hi T. I did not race at Daytona with PCA. I raced from 2003-2008 with PCA. Took a break. Then started again at the end of 15.

Was going to correct post after I looked at your driver history on RP.
Not that you wouldn't/couldn't make the haul from so far up north to Daytona, we get a lot of northerners at Sebring, the southern most race in the US on PCA calendar, but after I thought about it a minute, the group I was thinking about was from Pennsylvania.
Curious though, why SP2...?
We are moving to SP3 because there just aren't enough SP2 cars at the 10 tracks we have been to.
Is it a bigger thing up north...?

In this general NE region there is a slew of SP2 and SP3 cars. Almost no SP1. There are about 6-8 excellent drivers at most events, and SP2 car totals of 8-12. 2-3 of those are always fighting for the win. We all know each other, know how each other is cheating, , and are comfortable driving close. It's really a blast. I would love to do Daytona but it requires a full week for travel etc. I think two of our top drivers (Josh Viera and Kevin Palmer ) are heading to Daytona. That's not in the budget for me. I've been to the Sebring race as crew, and it's simply fantastic. Bucket list for me.

There are so many great tracks down south anyway that it really doesn't make sense since I don't think we have ever done more than 6-7 in any given year,
NOLA, COTA, Sebring, Barber, Hallet (formerly TWS), Daytona.
BTW - don't they tech SP2 class up there...?
They are constantly bring us in for weight checks, using the PCA data aq. tool mounted in the car, teching us for gears etc...!

I was looking to compare Viera using RennPoints to see how my son Eon stacks up but the only two tracks they shared was Daytona, that 1st year we did that one just once, every session was deemed "wet" and the enduro was actually called off short due to a tropical depression that had the palm trees bent over with 50 mph wind.
Road Atlanta, track improvement make a comparison impossible, only been there once, a couple years ago.
It'd be cool if you guys could get a convoy and head all to Sebring, or maybe NOLA, even Barber at N Alabama is not AS far for you guys so we could have a large cross section of participating drivers to compare.
Trouble is, we are moving to SP3.
I promise though, if y'all bests want a real challenge, I'll make sure we have an SP2 car at NOLA '19.

My comments about cheater cars was totally tongue in cheek. We are heavily scrutinized. Weighed at almost every race. Motors checked at varying times. Mostly podium guys. Gear sets checked. Body parts checked.
