Default Winter Project

Hey guys, So this Winter I've decided I'm pull my 951 engine out, I have a couple oil leaks that need attention, plus I wanna clean things up. I'll be resealing both balance shafts, oil Pan, rear main, and new rod bearings, maybe rings too. What's some while I'm in there stuff I should look into? I'm gonna rap the cross over too. I was thinking of doing a 3 inch down pipe but don't I need to change my exhaust so it fits (I have a LR 3" installed). Also what are some bolt on turbo options, I have a 26/8 installed I'm looking to go to 325-350hp street use. I don't mind used turbos or slight modifitions to make it fit. I did a search and couldn't find much

Give Charlie Brown at Evergreen turbo in FL a call.

He can rebuild your K26/8 and convert it to a K27/8. There are mods he can do to it to help it spool faster/sooner as well.

Anyone have info on the 3inch down pipe? Is it direct bolt on?

It will bolt on, but you will need a test pipe that is 3". Don't know if there will be attachment issues, but it will not match in diameter.
