Turbodan

good news; I removed and cleaned the throttle body, cleaned the springs, changed my j boot, and located the problem. It actually was the cruise control mechanism above the pedal in the footwell. anyway bent the arm so it is no longer interfering and it works great.
now I know a little about the throttle body.
