The power bleeder has its place, mostly for one man bleeding of the brakes and I've used it on other cars to flush the clutch just fine. Using the Motive on the 944T left it with a spongy feeling clutch pedal no matter how much I pumped or how much fluid I let flow through. Filling from the bottle I consistently get a nice firm pedal without wasting nearly as much fluid trying to chase bubbles out of the system. I've seen nothing to back this up, just my own theory, but where the clutch line comes up high in the engine bay and runs parallel to the ground for a few inches, I believe that's where the air gets trapped.

I think I'm going to give that bottom up fill method a try very soon.
