I am have an 87 944 turbo and the exhaust header has cracked at one of the flanges and I see 2 others on the way to failure. This header is just over one year old from a reputable vendor, not here to flame. Hoping to work something out. Really a PITA to remove.
In the mean time, I would like to know if there any recommendations or ones to avoid. The car is tracked and has been modified.
Thanks in advance

If this is an aftermarket header, its probably SS. I'd just have it welded. Its really not hard to remove and reinstall them with the head still on, you just might have to disconnect the motor mounts and jack the motor up a bit.

Talk to Dave, he's a great guy and can probably even fix the ones you have.
