Yeah,
judging by the inducer size which you measured, that compressor is good for almost 600 crank hp; way bigger than a k27 compressor
But, the hotside is too small to get rid of that kind of exhaust, so the turbo is going to create huge back-pressure after about 350 crank hp; so practically the turbo won't flow more than 400 crank. It'll make alot of boost early in the rev range, though.

Slightly OT, but question:
in the above example; machining a #6 housing to fit a # 8 wheel; would that render the housing bigger than #6? I know the hotside will flow more because of the bigger wheel, but the question is, the act of machining to fit a larger wheel would the exhaust gas exit into the wheel also be of a larger area? (let's say a 6.5, for example).
Just curious.
Anybody might know?

I stick with my original guess, TO4B stage 3 wheel with a modified #6 housing. If the housing is bored larger it can support more but keep in mind how much more would be determined by the excess material that is able to be removed without weakening the infrastructure. A K27 is larger than 70mm its just over 75mm, a TO4B is 70mm and a TO4E is 75-76.2mm depending on wheel.

Well, the inducer size is the most influential indicator of flow capability. But, you're right; with only a 70mm exducer crank hp max might be 500 - 550 at sea level
Still bigger than a k27 compressor which has like roughly a 53 mm inducer (somewhere around there)

That's an old school T04B H-3 wheel. It's rated at approx 51 lb/min but it's not very efficient.
