Default TPS specs

Hey guys, Im trying to find out if the TPS on the 951 uses a 5 bolt reference setup? Does anyone know what pin/color wire it is, I want to use the output to activate something when the throttle is fully open

I believe you'll want to tap the full load signal that goes from KLR pin 18 to DME pin 3. Hooking up a relay for your nitrous?

Pin 22 on the KLR has the TPS voltage signal. It generally doesn't go all the way to 5 volts installed, so you'd want to open the throttle all the way as see what voltage you get. The WOT pin Scott mentions is probably easier to work with (since it would look like a switch to another circuit) though it is triggered at about 2/3rds throttle rather than 100% throttle. If you are installing nitrous to trigger at WOT, be sure to download the head gasket R&R procedure linked below so it's handy....

Yea Il really thinking about it, I have a Zex dry kit sittin in my garage from an old project, It has a control box that you tap into a WOT 5volt signal, this will automatically activate the nitrous.... I'm only doing a 50hp shot, Im more interested I'm the cooling effects then the HP... But I'm still going back and forth with the idea as Im worried about fuel since its a dry kit

If you're looking for cooling, try a water/meth injection kit. They bring temps down in a hurry, raise the knock limit, and let you run more boost without more risk...

Yea I was looking at that too.. It just kills me that I have a nitrous kit sitting here, But I think it might be a better idea to leave it sitting there and look into the meth injection, Any of you guys tryed it it?
