Has anybody found the need to clean your aftermarket MAFs?
I just figure alot of us would have MAFs on our cars for 5+ years.
Is there a specific time after which it should be done?
Maybe it's one of those things: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"
What say you all

I've cleaned MAFs on other cars about once a year or when changing air filters. Just go buy a can of MAF Cleaner, hose your MAF down, let it dry out in the sun and pop it back in the car. I've rarely noticed a difference before/after but the peace of mind is nice and it is about 0.5/10 on the effort scale if you're already working in the engine bay.

I've cleaned mine after noticing a rougher idle and watching voltage. After cleaning, the idle smoothed along with the voltage.
I use the stuff in a grey can. Forget the brand. Spray it down and let it dry fully.
