Default Welcome my 3rd 944 and 2nd turbo..

Well, my 944 that I've driven daily since I was 17 (black one in signature), swapped engines, transmissions, interiors, suspensions, etc etc to keep it alive finally threw a timing belt and it is time to let it die... My white 951 was a field find that I got running well for a year but ran into troubles that I didn't have time to fix.

So, I began my search for a >2000 year sports car and grow up. Was planning on a cayman S next year, so I wanted something in the interim. Instead, I stumbled across a gem at a price I still can't believe. Great to buy a car from an awesome previous owner. 1986, 90k miles, 10k since 2001, stored in a heated garage, etc. Binder with every record, original sticker, receipt, manual with service stamps, etc.

3" lindsey exhaust, wastegate shims, chip and boost enhancer, 968 wing, momo steering wheel and shift ****, custom 100% hidden and well done sub enclosure in the spare tire well, aftermarket cup 1s, came with the original 16" early offset phone dials, a euro rear bumper with the rubber and a lot of other things as well as just about every original part.

I couldn't pass up finally owning a perfect example of the series. First up is waterpump and timing belt..

Great looking car! Congrats on the purchase! I think with the euro rear bumper on there (and maybe a front splitter) you will have one mean looking machine. I love those side skirts. I need to find me a set of thems.

Never really wanted a red one but you don't exactly get to pick these days. I can't decide if I'd rather shave the euro bumper or put the bumper strip on it. The bumper needs to be painted so I have the choice now.

Trying to also figure out which splitter I want. I want body color and relatively subtle.

Also need to figure out which springs to get to bring me down an inch in the front.
