Default DME and KRW chip?

Found these in a box of tools my girlyfriend had. Are these the stock chips from an upgrade/replacement done to the ecu? The motronic ecu in the car was said to be a possible rebuild/repair, but there was no mention of any kind of upgrading when I asked them.

I'm a nub when it comes to this kind of stuff. Any help/direction is appreciated.

APE used to deliver its performance chips in those plastic cases, so lot of stock chips (like those) ended up in those boxes when people installed their new chips.

Thanks for the info. I guess the next step is to open up the KLR and DME and see if those are replacement stock chips or upgraded.
