Default Difference between 86 and 87 front calipers?

Title says it all. I have an '86 and am wondering if there is a difference between the '87 (or 88 non-S for that matter).

Thanks,
Collin

Piston size: 86's had 38/36mm pistons, the 87+ cars had 40/36mm. Otherwise, they are the same.

Correct - The piston sizes are different but you won't notice any difference in performance, they are interchangeable.
