Thanks for posting, looks like a monster!

I am disappointed to find no 582hp pulls in any of the three videos. Only idling? Don't tease me bro!

Sorry - I'm kind of busy when its running hard! lots of things to monitor and lots of programming to do.
Once the oil pump gets back and we get the final tuning done I will have time to shoot the ‘glory’ video!

For right now….its back to waiting!

I do wish I had the videos of the exhaust manifold glowing red hot....

Just the adapters and plumbing to fit it on the dyno and the 4 days of dyno time so far would cost more than the average engine rebuild…..

Looks good!
What oil pressure did you have? Did the pump work fine at first since you did a full 15-16 psi sweep and then gradually produced lower oil pressure?

(good to know since a similar pump is on a certain other engine!)

The 'other' engine has a pump with a larger pressure section gear - the only issue you guys need to watch is cold oil pressure. Don’t rev the engine with cold oil, the pressure can be pretty impressive!

Duke – I’ll shoot you some more info off line later today.

So what is the deal with this engine? I guess I haven't been paying attention. Is the 16v motor becoming more popular for doing a turbo build in the 951's? I guess the 8v has its limits, but in the chevy world they seem to do fine with 2 valves a cylinder.

Nice! I like the concept Chris, but way to many valves! The plumbing for the dry sump is easier when the engine is not in the car, but the bragging rights are still the same... Should have thought of that

Anyway, good luck and congrats!
