alternator pulley key???

update...when to autozone and had them check the alternator out. voltage regulator FAILED on their brand new one (i have never had good luck with the POS rebuilds from them) so i ordered an external adjustable one DaveBarton.

Adjustable voltage regulator installed right now... I'm now getting 12.2 with lights, A/C on... and 13.2 with everything off. Thats with the regulator adjusted to the highest setting. For future reference this regulaor has a total range of adjustment of roughly 1.0 voltage.
