I still have my 944. It's the last one I'll own. If I ever sell it, I'll get something newer, but more than likely I'll hold onto it for a few more years.

Chris, glad to here you kept yours. You have one of the nicest 951 s around.
The only thing that bugs me about the one posted is the aftermarket speaker grilles. Other than that it looks like a perfect example.

Surprisingly I think there were 3 low-mileage (i.e. <50k) 951s listed in the latest Panorama (this didn't appear to be one of them). I wonder why the high number of low-mileage cars coming out of the closet now???

So true .... I went for the plunge but paid a little less than that
They ( the 88TS and 89 ) did have a lot of improvements...

For the right person, I wouldn't be surprise if it will fetch close to $25K. I would pay up to $28K if this is the exact car I am looking for that is original with the right color combo and option etc...I think the TS worth a few more grand in similar condition.

Looks like it sold...
Early last month I came across an 86 and it was built exactly the way I would've built it if I were ordering a new one. I've always wanted a turbo with Fuchs and since they don't fit the 89s, I was thinking of getting an 86. It would look real nice next to my white 89.
This car is black/black with black fuchs, sport seats, and no side mouldings. It still belongs to the original owner and it was his first brand new Porsche and to keep it affordable his only options were sport seats, fuchs, leather, and radio. It also only has 6k miles on it, bone stock and looks showroom new. I asked if he was interested in selling it and he was hesitant. I offered 30k and he turned me down, I then offered him 31k and he turned that down too.
I would only pay that kind of money if I were buying it from the original owner. I would never pay that kinda money if it were at a dealer or a second owner car. Buying from an original owner that has kept everything is the closest you'll get to buying it new. He had everything you could think of.
