I will check with voltmeter if it shows correct with that then I can blame a bad cluster

Fixing electrical issues can be painful. I forgot to ask if you have the factory service repair manuals. They contain electrical schematics that are invaluable when troubleshooting.

I did just get in the mail the 6 vol set so they will be put to good use

I was messing around today and took apart a 88 harness and now see how gr/black wire comes from pin21 and goes to 8 pin harness but then I opened up my 90 harness and I see the solid green and gr/black wires to go pin 21 but Forsure they have not been cut not to have a 8 pin connector from what I can tell its going into engine bay thru firewall area. Since I am currently only gave Internet on my phone can someone have a look where on 90 harness the green with black is going to . Thanks alot
