I just watched your video again; change your fuel lines before the car burns down!

Regarding your flame issue, without a wideband 02 sensor, my guess is as good as yours whether you're running rich or if it's something else. If those injectors have never been cleaned by a professional, I'd be willing to bet at least one might be getting stuck open when they're supposed to be closed. A little fuel in the exhaust plus a hot turbo can easily equal big flames out the back.

If you're not inclined on getting an WB02 at the moment, you could always fill your gas tank, set your trip to 0, and drive the car until the light comes on. It's the hard way of doing it, but you'll get a good indication of your actual mileage that way.

Flames with no cat and running the car hard is not uncommon. Your fuel consumption seems a bit high unless this is all rough driving and now highway cruising.

I wish I'd seen this. I've got a Rennbay set I ordered (and turned out I didn't need) just sitting around.

So today i was cleaning up my engine bay hiding spark plug wires ect.. and then i found one vacuum hose just lying around not connected to anything well did some blind search under intake manifold and found the place for it, then drove around..

what a difference! Lol its like having new car, my boos gauge is really fast now, before it just got up from vacuum to boost reaaly slowly, now its instantanious, i can feel turbo spooling up much faster and sooner, ill try running at 18-19 psi again and check if the car starts to missfire like it did before..

o and yep i actually bought it with the vacuum line disconnected..

Again, do not exceed 15 psi, unless you have the supporting mods(ie injectors, programming, wide band, etc....) you WILL Regret it!!!

Don't blow it! Wideband worked wonders for understanding and seeing the cons of a historic engine computers (Bosch motronics).

So i think i figured out the source of that clanking sound, i think its my bypass valve the spring is really weak and i think it leaks, ill try to put my brothers diverter and check for results, because now it doesnt hold even 15psi
