You need to measure the crankshaft rod journals and rod big ends plus the rod length to see if they differ from std. size. 2.5L cranks can be offset ground and/or welded to make a longer or 3.0L stroke. It is a common modification to size the bearings with undersize chevy/toyota/honda clevite 77 bearings and have custom rods made to match. The rods can be made shorter as well as custom pistons with a higher pin height to compensate for a increase in stroke.
