Your coolant tank must look like it's in ICU!

Nope

I have no extra tubes to the coolant tank just the tube from the radiator to the top of the coolant tank.

The vent on the coolant neck sucks down the airbubbles from the other steam vents and then the airbubbles goes to the radiator and then via the steam vent in the radiator to the coolant tank.

Works really good

^that looks great! the real question is are you seeing any difference in temps / head / headgasket longevity with the additional steam vents?

Apply a glob of bearing grease to your drill bit and drill slowly (same with your tap). This will keep the aluminum in longer shavings and the little stuff will attach to the grease. Drill some, clean the bit, regrease, drill some more, etc. If you were to get a sliver or two in the cooling system, it will not hurt anything.

Has anyone thought of just using this to bleed the system and then closing it off using a valve? Wont the fluid take the path of least resistance maybe causing the cooling system to not be as efficient?
