Default Turbo coolant pump relay

This past week after driving my car it is missing the normal buzz/whirling of the turbo coolant pump. From my testing I found that the relay might be defective. Considering the high cost of a new one is there a test procedure to know 100% it is bad?

I performed the test Texas Blake outlined on his page. http://www.texasblake.com/porsche/tech/turbopump.html

Any ideas?

Buy a relay from Lart. It is good to have a spare even if it is not bad.

He has one on his Ebay store. I would just order it here:

If buy it from him directly he would save about 10% in fees. Ebay has really started to gouge sellers on fees.

I have replaced the relay and the pump still doesn't run after the car is shutoff. One thing that is interesting when I was going to jumper the relay following texas blakes method before I hooked up the negative terminal the pump would start circulating. Would that have anything to do with this?

Could it possibly be the temp sensor?
