Default Dynatech Split-Flow Muffler

Has anyone tried a Dynatech split flow muffler?

When I contacted Mandrel Bending Solutions they recommended this muffler even though they don't sell it.

Just thinking about trying it out. Apparently it cuts down noise quite well.

loud! I had one on a 944S and got black flagged at Road Atlanta on a Sunday morning when the noise levels are more strictly monitored.

^ Wouldn't be nearly as loud on a 951 due to the turbo muffler effect. It probably wouldnt be too much louder than the stock muffler as it too is a straight through design if I'm not mistaken. I was looking at a small dynatech resonator to take the edge off my open side exit exhaust at cruise but I think I may be going back to the stock muffler with no cat soon to see how I like the sound. The way I designed it I can bolt in and bolt out the side exit section at will as it uses a like-factory 4 bolt flange.

I have a straight through round one. It is kinda on the loud side, sounds good at idle though.
