Default Turbo Sachs PP & 930 disk

Any idea at what toruque level this combo starts letting go?

Setup is 26/6, Vitesse AFM chip, B&B 2.5" with test pipe, MBC at 13-14 psi, 2.5 is in good tune.
I see Lindsey posts some torque values for their Spec stuff.

I would guess around 350 ft-lbs at the wheels, that combo is only good for a bit more than stock. The pressure plate is the weak link and the 930 disc can hold a lot more than that with a better pressure plate. You won't come close to exceeding that limit with your current setup.

Thats what I thought when went with this setup 3 yrs ago after much searching/reading. Very surprised it is starting to let go in 3rd gear at 4000K and on. Disk wear checks ok via Clarks, it is all dry and i've checked and even put in extra free play at the peddle.

How many people are running Feramic from SouthBeach or will a Spec stage 2 with a 930 disk work just fine.

I love my spec hybrid aluminum pressure plate. Its got 20% more clamp force than a standard spec reworked pressure plate. All spec pressure plates for our cars are reworked sachs plates with modified fulcrum points to allow higher clamp load. Mine is holding 350+ wheel torque just fine and I know it could hold a lot more. Pedal effort is a bit stiffer than stock but exactly how I think a sports car should feel. Disc is spec stage 2+.
