Default Mikes-951 last chance

I bought a 951s fuse box with relays from this guy at the end of November.

My car was in storage for the winter and I finally got around to opening the box yesterday as I wanted to check one of the relays to verify if mine was bad.

So I opened the box only to find a fuse box from a NON S 951.

In addition almost half of the relays are missing.

I sent this guy a PM and an email with no response,

If you are reading this Yuriy then I expect you to make this right.

I believe I did get a 944 NA box as the location for the Aux water pump relay has a blank there. This guy Mikes-951 is pissing me off!

Dude...they're the same...I can understand being upset if it was agreed that all relays would come with it, but if it didn't come out of an "S" it really doesn't matter in regards to functionality (unless you absolutely have to have one that came out of an "S" and won't accept one that came out of a standard Turbo or even an N/A).

They are not the same and almost half of the relays are missing including the aux water pump relay because the box he sent was from a NA!

Well if he really won't help you out might I suggest you try Lart to source some spares. He's a great guy and should be able to assist you tracking down the parts. Not sure if you know of Lart though...:-)

I need to check my trailer to be certain but I'm quite certain I have a 951S fusebox w/ fuses & relays still in. PM me if you're interested.

Cheers,

Rick

There's only one part number: 944.610.110.00 (Which just so happens to be the same part number on the relay panel in my 951S!)

Difference being which relays are where the block-off plates are. I'd be mad at the relays, but not the relay "panel" itself.

Thank you but I don't need your help telling me what I should be mad about.

You're welcome. Going off what little information you presented, one can ascertain that:

1) You didn't open the box until 4-5 months after you reveived the part.

2) You assumed a difference between N/A and Turbo relay panels (which apparently made you angry, feeling that you either received a part that would not function in your car, or was in some way inferior).

3) You sent one (1) e-mail and one (1) PM and have yet to recieve a reply.

You have every right to be mad about not receiving all relays if that was understood between buyer and seller.

Bottom line is that it is your fault for not checking the contents when received. If anything, you could have filed a claim if the purchase was made via Paypal or some other means that offers buyers protection.

Trying to air laundry in public forums can be a double edged sword.

Well, now to really set you off, ... the local Recycler sells me every Fuse and Relay in a 944 for $6, total.
