I used screws to mount around the bottom of the hatch and 3M Window Weld (urethane 08609) to attach the side molding. I applied essentially nickel sized “dots” of 3M WW about every six inches. It worked great and I have had no issues with it.

Do you have pics of how you trimmed the rear fender where it meets
the diffuser?

I had to cut a notch out of the BF fenders on the rear otherwise the stock diffuser would not have fit back on. see pics.

Also going to have to trim the front BF fenders to make the front JT front splitter fit... will post pics / report once I have that done.

Reno, what size rubber F&R are you running? I was thinking 285/30 all round but my tire guy is suggesting 255/40 in on the front... doesn't seem right to me!

Are you sure that's to powder coat not anodize Paul? Seems high even for down here.
Be aware that when you get them powdercoated you will have to take the time to clean the threads to run the wheel caps. They also may not fit back onto the stub axle without a bit of sanding away the inside. Been there, done that. Not a problem.

Thats freakin high.

All the powder coating on my car was 600.00 and that included ceramic coating the exhaust.

Interior is holding up good, I was worried a little in the mid summer heat if it wouldn't melt and come loose but it held up nicely.

Thanks for everyone's input on the wheels... yeh, I thought I was being fleeced. I am going to get some more quotes. Any one in the Toronto area have any suggestions on where to look / who to use?

Patrick, thanks for the tips and heads up. Will let you know how it turns out.

Powdercoating is way too pricey! I paid 60euro's for each, 240 total. But that was including repair work (filling with fluid aluminium) of the rims..

I would hate to be the one to have to prepare those wheels for painting.

When you loose all fingerprints on first half of first wheel, you know where those $600 go.
