Broke a rack bolt off inside crossmember

Ah I see. Well penetrating oil and left hand drill bit would be my first thought....using my imagination on what you have described. No loctite good...means penetrating oil can penetrate.
Good luck with things...nothing more annoying than a stuck bolt.

Temporary use only!! Slap on a couple steel circle band screw clamps to hold unit onto the Xmember. You can drive it home where you can work on the car properly. Even a small cargo strap will work.

Just an update, bolt is out and I didnt have to remove anything except the bolt on the compressor housing for the tension rod! Left hand drill bits and easy out didn't do squat, ended up drilling it out with a regular 1/4 drill bit on a right angle drill and then running an M8x1.25 tap down the hole. Thanks everybody for all your help!
