Default CyCloNe!'s Build Thread

Hey guys I've been here for a few years and I realized I don't have a build thread, so I figured why not start one. Here's a few pics of the car currently as well as a few other shots.

Seats are universal vinyl ones off ebay paid $250 for them, mine were trashed so I just wanted to make the interior less torn apart. I plan to get some cheap factory ones and an upholstery kit in black. Also yes my interior was burgundy, I took some VHT vinyl paint and went to town, that's how she looks after 1.5 years later. Sadly after I painted them I found a permanent dye by VHT on summit-racing but it's held up pretty well. I'm going to replace with factory black parts especially the door and rear cards.

Also here's my Xschop Strut setup, 300lb Springs, Early Strut Housings Modified for Late Models, with KYB Inserts. I plan to change the inserts to something more stiff and get some shorter springs, these are 10" I believe and want to go with 8" so I have more adjustment. Right now I have the car as low as it will go with these springs which is like .5" lower than stock.

You will want a much larger air filter than that for a GT30 turbo.

I'll look forward to this thread, thats a really nice turbo. In the engine pic, is that an Optima battery sitting on it's side ?? Never saw one that fit but can you actually even mount those upside down and they still work?
