Hey Guys, Im planning on putting a 996 wheel in my 1988 951S and just want to make triple sure that it fits. The link below is for the wheel.

Hey Greg,

Thanks man, Im glad I read your writeup before I went with the purchase. I didnt realize it was so involved and also the whole thing with the Airbag. I may be rethinking my plan... Lets see what kind of price I can get an airbag for.

There are decent deals to be had on the airbags but you have to be patient. I had good luck dying both the airbags I've used black, one was an ugly brownish tan and the other grey originally. These tend to be cheaper since the market isn't as large as the black ones. Don't forget you'll need the clock spring too.
