damn. wish there was a way of getting to the clutch easier in a 951.

You don't need a six speed trans, the five speed and shifter bolts right up to a 968 TT without issue. Indeed, a 968 bellhousing eliminates the TT issues with a clutch change. If you are modifing a turbo, the exhaust / wastegate routing/ hangers would also need to be modifed to fit the 968 bellhousing setup. Side exhaust anybody?

Since the 968 clutch disc has got no springs it should only be used with a dual mass flywheel.

So in order to do this modification on a 951, you would a need a 968 flywheel, clutch assembly (kit), bell housing and torque tube. Doesn't the 968 have a different setup for crank sensors as well?

I understand that the 968 has a 2 piece tt? Is that right? With a coupler up front? Could you use the 968 tt with a 951 and still have easy access to the bell housing
