Default injector wiring

the injector wires go to pin's 14/15 of the dme, but where do the bl/red wires go?

Reason I ask is that I bought a LR fuel rail, and for some reason, when installed, my car will not start. I hooked the fuel rail up sitting on my block with paper towel at the end of each injector and cranked the engine, but no fuel was on the towels. So clearly the injectors were not firing.

I cut open each injector cover and added electrical tape between each pair of wires (they were all grounding out..ect). I figured that the position of the injector wire was such that in the factory location they were not grounding out, but with the new rail they were.

But even with my cleaned up wires, I cannot get the injectors to fire with the LR rail. Each injector has good continuity to pin 14/15, but I dont know what to check continuity for on the other wires.

The red/blue wire goes to pin#2 on the 14pin dme connector near the brake booster. This wire should have +12v when the key is on and supplies power to the injectors.
