I read the same article Pozican referred to. The car driven had the factory 275 hp chip installed, there was also a 300 hp sprint chip. I think the Turbo Cup cars came with 3 different chips for sprint, intermediate and endurance races.

When I bought my car in May of 88 I had gotten all the publications at the time that were doing write ups ... It seemed most came out after I bought my car
I still have most if not all of them...
Just confirmed what I already knew ...
I bought one hell of a car ...
I think my favorite was Automobile piece .. " A Tail of two Turbo's"
but I have Car and Driver, (I think R&T did one also, but I think it was a multi car comparison?) I have to dig them up
