If Chuck Norris was a car part he would be a CPR splitter.

LineX. I had the whole thing covered last time and no it did not make it any harder to mount.

Tony modified the Joe Toth design for proper alignment/angles. Mine worked just fine on the street. I do live in Phoenix and the roads here are in pretty good shape.

NOPE! Tony fills the whole lower section with a huge chunk of balsa wood. You'd have to hit it a LOT harder than any other fiberglass splitter to get it to crack. Cover it in bed liner and it's more durable than you can imagine.

Have you ever seen/held one of Tony's splitters to have any idea what you are talking about?

In any case, if you want durability tests, buy one yourself and let us know how it goes.

I don't want an indestructible splitter. They are disposable items that should be held on with zip ties, I'd rather it be a sacrificial lamb than be super tough and well attached and remove my front bumper when it digs into a gravel trap or hits a cone. Buy them by the dozen from www.texasperformanceconcepts.com.

I'm serious. If you're going to claim that his could take a hit to a parking barrier then i want proof before i spend any money on it. Your opinion isn't a big selling point, i'm sorry!

In the 4x4 world this is what they do when they say a part is tough:

(that's a plastic fender flare, BTW...and i'd definitely spend money on it!)

I've seen the pictures, no doubt it's a nice piece. I just want something that's durable enough for a daily driver.

Ok, so let's look at this objectively. What are your options for a splitter?

CPR splitter - People here on RL have cracked and broken them. They are more durable than a fiberglass splitter but not indestructible. Being durable doesn't matter if you can't find one to buy.

Joe Toth, AIR, TPC or any other fiberglass splitter - well we all know how durable those are. You can buy these any time.

TonyG's splitter - more durable than normal fiberglass and you can actually buy one.

Are there any other options that I have not covered? Of the splitters currently available for purchase, are there any that are as durable or more durable than Tony's???

If you think there is a better choice out there, I'd love to hear it.

Other than that, you can have my opinion for the low price you paid for it.

Tony's is the best, or I would not have bought it!

Come on seriously, 4 bills delivered with serious track tested reliability, it is a no brainer. That us about five tanks of gas these days!

All very true. There probably is no better choice...and that's why my money is still sitting in my pocket.

If i was buying for a track car i'd definitely pick up Tony's.
