What is considered "late" in the NA 944 world? There is an '86 at a local pick and pull, I am heading out there in a couple of days to grab a few small parts for myself, if that's the cam you want and they still have it I could grab it for you.

I wouldnt mind getting one to use for a regrind core. So if anyone else has one laying around
.
I have used an NA cam in a milder application and only noticed a slight top end increase.
However, I think on my current setup, as well as Shawn's, it might be worthwhile.

The NA cams only have I think another 1mm exhaust lift and the over lap is just a little more, I have one in my car... Not a noticable difference but I did too many mods at once to say it made a difference...
Blown- I might have another kicking around, I will check when i get home tonight...

Yep, I think with bigger intake valve size we might see more benefit from this camshaft.

The other statment I read alot is that the Late NA cam only helps top end slighly
Ive Entered the specs into a Dyno Sim programe, And stock HP for a 1986 951 went from 220hp to 230hp but it was all top end peak HP, Mid RPM HP actually dropped slighly.... The sim doesnt do Torque... Who knows how accurate it is
