Thanks Jim. I did see it but was unable to drive it (uninsured). I have a video of the engine running. For the price, not a bad car. Certainly NOT a garage queen.

Thanks for all of the info and the links - never occurred to me to search using the kijij URL.
The seller should be commended on his honesty!
Would be a shame NOT to put the proper plaid back in.
Doing some research, looks like that fabric is very hard to come by and very $$.
Price is right, but still may be a tough sale as people who DO know the Turbo S, would want the original interior and brakes, and trans. Those who don't see may a car with weird plaid on some parts.
Rare car - if I had the space (extra finances) and time, would love to bring it back...
Hope it goes to a good home.

Now the one in Leeds across the pond - steering wheel is on the wrong side, but the interior looks amazing!

Leeds is a couple of hours from me . I may have been interested at £3k which is what I'd guess the dealer gave for it.

I agree. It has lost the LSD and the big blacks... A turbo S it is not.

THAT is a nice Turbo S - only thing changed is the rear folding seats - they should have the plaid and be split folding. Other than that, very nice - I'm sure the reserve is set closer to 12-15grand on that one.

I think you're probably right, at that mileage.

It also has a harness bar and a bit of bolster wear, but looks pristine, otherwise.

I saw it hit almost 11K a few times but no sale.

Sunroof delete is one of the things I wish my car had, I believe the US importers insisted the turbo S had the sunroof.
