Default Interior Before & After

At the risk of being an interior attention ***** (ok, guilty), I recently recovered some pictures that I thought I'd lost in a hard drive crash and found one that the PO had sent me of the interior of my car before I bought it. Thought it made an interesting before and after. As Virginia Slims used to say, "You've come a long way baby..."

Thanks, as i look at those pictures, I realize the only surface that isn't either new or recovered are the carpets. I might need to seek therapy.

The dash (top & bottom) and the console are covered in leather. The 968 door cards were originally black, I dyed the lower part with SEM Colorcoat and a coat of SEM low luster clear.

Greg, ... didn't you also do a Backseat replacement with a Subwoofer/Speaker box? Go ahead and burn some bandwidth, we can take it!

Stock rear seat for me, no subwoofer/speaker box.

Rob Budd at Classic 9 Leather did the leather work on the dash and console. Great guy, great work.

This one shows the leather on the dash/console a little better

Here's hoping we have a chance to toast each others' interiors with some good champagne at some point

Your car always makes me very jealous and after a few minutes of drooling, it makes me want to rush out to the garage and start working on my own cars interior...!!!

Great inspiration for the rest of us...
